A practical solution to bringing wires into a wetroom floor, an alternative to drilling a hole through the floor or wall and trying to seal the wires with sealant after installation.
Small ABS plastic duct to be inserted into the wall to allow under-tile heating wires to be safely brought into a wetroom floor.
ABS plastic bend solvent welded to a 1.5mm ABS plate with a length Alfix seal-strip (waterproofing joint seal / reinforcement to form part of a tanking system) bonded to the plate.
Insert the bend into the wall cavity with the plate covering the aperture and use the seal strip to bond to the wall and floor .
Under-tile heating wires can be brought through the duct pre or post tanking installation.
